Adrenaline

Once upon a time we humans existed and survived a brutal world by being able to react to stressful situations, by thinking and responding more decisively than the average bear (literally!) Outrunning a herd of Wooly Mammoths was a snap using our fight or flight syndrome. However, in today's fast-paced world we have come to crave and may even become addicted to the rush brought on by adrenaline and other stimulants. Stimulation is needed to make us more efficient but too much will eventually bring about less productivity and wear us out. Everything in moderation, I was told. Proper diet, exercise, and rest all make health, wealthy and wise. Massage has a place in this balance. The benefits of massage lend themselves well to countering the negative effects of stress. Try it - you'll like it!
