The bamboo is a beautiful creation for us to emulate. It is beautiful, simple, strong and a metaphor for harmony. Harmony comes in part from knowing yourself. Being confident. Being okay with yourself allows the world to hurl its issues at you, yet you stand strong letting them fly by like a bamboo yields to but does not take possession of the wind.
